Simple Potato Recipe

Here’s a simple potato recipe: pork chops and potatoes. I love comfort food, and potatoes and pork chops are great for a cold winter day. It’s hearty food, and tastes so good! hey, I made a rhyme and I wasn’t trying. (smile)…anyway, here’s a simple potato recipe you’ll want to try on those colder days of the winter. The family will love how tasty it is, and you’ll love how easy it is.

This will serve 4 people:
4 center cut porkchops
4 potatoes (large, cleaned and cut into small cubes)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup of water
1 cup shredded parm cheese
1 can of french fried onions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F, and spray a casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray.

1. In a casserole dish, layer first the pork chops, then the potatoes over top of them.

2. Mix one can of cream of mushroom soup and one cup of water together, then pour over your potatoes and pork chops.

3. Cover with foil or lid, and bake for 45 minutes at 400 degrees

4. Remove from over, remove foil, add the parmesan cheese and french fried onions, and put back in the oven for 15 more minutes without the lid/foil.

Total cooking time: 1 hour

With this simple potato recipe with pork chops, you can set it in the oven and go about your business! It’s so easy to do, and you can substitute pork chops for chicken too!
